Description

A 13/32" x 1 3/16" x 16 3/4" piece of butternut (Juglans cinerea) with rounded ends and sides has two 1/8" diameter holes drilled through the 1 3/16" dimension, one hole near each end. A 1/8" diameter length of wire with the ends threaded is bent such that the threaded ends are inserted through the butternut and secured with square nuts. Two other 7/32" diameter holes are drilled through the 13/32" dimension an inch or so inside the holes for the wire ends.
