Community:
New York, Mount Lebanon
Description

A piece of white pine (Pinus strobus) with a pine block 5/8" x 1 13/16" x 4 3/8" screwed onto its surface at one end with two flat-head wood screws forms nearly a mirror image of 1952.5611.1 with the exception that the top edge of the long bar has a bull-nose shape and the block laminated to the bar has a 9/16" diameter hole drilled through it. An identical shadow to the one on 1952.5611.1 is found on this object as well, except that the end held by two wood screws diagonals upward toward the rounded end rather than downward as on 1952.5611.1.
