Description

Device that appears to be some sort of cutting jig consisting of a block of birch with grain running vertically so that cutting surface is end grain sandwiched between two blocks of white pine (grain running longitudinally). A threaded steel stud is set into each end of the birch block with elaborate wing nuts holding an iron or steel bar over the birch block. A coil spring is set into the top of the birch block around each stud. One side of the metal bar is cut to a small curve. Top of bar has short chamfered section in middle and a graved design on the top of the bar.
