Description

Tilter socket bit for back posts of chairs machined from steel. Bit has a cylindrical lead, 11/64" diameter, a four wing cutter, 13/16" diameter, which produces a semi-spherical cavity, and a 3/8" diameter shank that transitions to a tapered square tang to fit into a chuck.

Notes

Used to drill the semispherical cavities in the bottoms of back posts of chairs to house tilters.
