Poplar cutter consisting of a cast iron head, a knife-spacer assembly (24 knives held at 1/16" intervals) with steel knife blades and copper spacers along with two 3/32" steel spacers and one 1/16" steel spacer held in place by a 1/4" diameter machine screw with a winged head.
Used to cut poplar veneer into strips for weaving into fabric for poplarware goods.
