Foot-shaped part of a sewing machine treadle, cast iron, japanned, but broken. Two pieces of iron sheet were cut to fit outline of treadle. One fits in foot cavity on treadle top, the other fits to underside. Eight holes were drilled through this "sandwich" and the three pieces were riveted together.
