Yellow paint powder in a tin canister with crimped bottom seam and soldered side seam, and friction-fit one piece lid.
The paint powder was used by and possibly prepared by the Shakers. Acquired with other paint powder samples which were accompanied by a note written by Eldress Emma B. King, "Paint Powders as used in the long ago." Note has since been lost.
