Description

Yellow paint powder in a mold-formed, clear glass jar with blue-painted metal screw-on lid.

Notes

The paint powder was used by and possibly prepared by the Shakers. Acquired with other paint powder samples which were accompanied by a note written by Eldress Emma B. King, "Paint Powders as used in the long ago." Note has since been lost. The jar is 20th century in origin.
