Description

Work counter with fourteen drawer base, side and tail vises, and bench dog slots. Top has 16" softwood at rear, about 21" of red oak (Quercus rubra), and a 3 1/2" facing with bench dog slots of beech (Fagus grandifolia). Vice screws and jaws also appear to be beech. Base frame is beech with white pine (Pinus strobus) panels and back is some other soft wood. Proper right rear corner of top has been cut out to allow a lathe bed to be attached in line with the bench top.
