Description

Hydrometer consisting of a 5/16" diameter hollow glass cylinder. White paper label hand-printed in black ink with scale going from 20 to 400 in increments of ten and labeled "Cubic Inches at 80 [degrees] F". Label rolled and inserted inside the tube before both ends were heat sealed. An eye has been fashioned at the top end for holding the hydrometer vertical while immersing the lower end in the solution whose density is to be determined.
