Painting on wood. Bright red mill just off-center set behind a pond with stone wall. Surrounding the house are birch and other trees. Bright blue sky with white clouds. In foreground water lilies and reeds. Simple wood frame with concave sloping face. Backing of frame covered in paper; two hook eyes, one on either side, with wire looped through.
