Mitten pattern. Hand-cut thin brown paper. Both have tapered sides to round top. (a) has triangular cut-out near top and long rectangular cut-out from bottom at an angle creating a "thumb". Bottom edge is irregular. (b) has straight bottom and not cut-outs.
