Glove pattern. Four pieces of hand-cut paper. (a) two pieces glued together to comprise rectangular palm with finger on either side of top, one taller than other. (b,d) two irregular forms, each with convex bottom, sloping side, rounded top, which rounds down where it meets a straight line. (c) straight bottom, tapered sides, and rounded top.
