Description

Six-gallon stoneware water cooler salt glazed. Outside a glossy tan and inside coated with dark-brown Albany slip. At base, a bung has been added. Features a cobalt-slip trailed design of a bird on a branch. Two handles, one broken off, flank thick lip at top. What appear to be throwing lines run up cooler to base of handles and diagonal rib marks wrap around cooler almost halfway up.
