Grindstone. Cylindrical stone, has 13 deep grooves, through which is an iron spindle surrounded by a wood block. Spindle attached to L-shaped arm with leather wrapped for grip. Spindle sits in forked wood uprights. Uprights are dovetail-joined with base. Base ends cut convexly. Rectangular tin tray sits on base under stone.
