Description

Pill box cutter. Cutter comprises two pieces: one piece is a cutter with an oval blade (.1) and an oval-shaped mallet (.2), which fits within the blade. Blade has integral arms, which are tenon-jointed to base. Base is set into a carved wooden handle which is a half-oval shape with rounded edges. Between base and handle is a strip of leather. Mallet has an oval iron plate screwed into a handle. Handle has an oval cross-section which tapers to the grip.
