Description

Cobbler's bench. Standing bench with oak column for shoemaker's boot strap; ratchet and foot treadle underneath. Open compartment between column and three drawers 6 9/16" h x 12 5/8" w stacked on one another. First and second drawers have cylindrical drawer pulls with screwed through center; bottom drawer has turned wood knob. Fourth drawer underneath compartment and drawers. Nailed construction. Painted blue. Inside each drawer are leather scraps, some cut for shoes.
