Description

Palm leaf cutter. Cutter has a mortise-and-tenon jointed ash frame washed yellow; with a cast iron platform, support brackets, and springs. Below springs is a cast iron crossbar with two gears. Above platform is a crossbar, which is notched underneath and a piece of wood with an oval block is secured in place by a butterfly screw. Between the oval block and platform is a rectangular block with four oval grooves on top which surround the oval block above. Lacks crank to operate press.
