Shoe float. Float head is curved and rectangular with three sets of blades so float cuts in both directions. Shaft has a square cross-section, which is inserted into a turned wood handle. This joint is reinforced with a steel ferrule with a cast iron ferrule reinforcing that. Handle has a flat butt.
