Brass wheel assembly. There are two large brass wheels with a steel pinion running through-center; the larger wheel has straight teeth and the smaller has angled teeth. On the smaller wheel there is a ratchet attached with an hour wheel pipe bent around it. The ratchet is part of a bobbin-like form. Out of one end of the "bobbin" the steel pinion continues for 1 13/32".
