Description
Wooden double bookbinding press. Press frame has a lap-jointed base and top, in between which is a board that rests atop the base and the press board. Both boards are wider than the base and are notched in the middle so they fit around the uprights. The press board has two braces which the ends of the screws are attached. The screws are threaded through the top. Each screw has a dowel through its head for turning.
