Description

Wooden clock frame and parts. The frame has two thin rectangular plates separated by six turned dowels, along the top and bottom ends. The boards have several through-holes. Across one through hole there is a brass plate. To the right of this there is a count wheel and count lever. Between the two plates are four clock wheels; one wheel is the hour wheel with its metal hand cannon extending out of the front plate through the dial hole. Below this wheel is a third wheel. Overlapping the third wheel are two larger wheels with thin rope attached. In between these two wheels is a maintenance cam with an attached hammer detent and hammer. There are several clock component pieces including an escape wheel, ratio wheel, five other wheels, one barrel, fly, and a sort of shallow bobbin.
