Description
Vise with elevated chops and forged iron ratchet and pawl at bottom to allow clamping of objects with non-parallel sides. Jaws of birch, screw and handle of hickory. Back jaw has three holes for securing vise to bench or other support. 1/8" thick pieces of beech are nailed to the lower sides of the back jaw. Vise jaws and screw hub are painted red.
