T-handled screw tap of forged and machined steel. Tap has maximum diameter of 1", minimum diameter of 11/16" and cutting length of 3 1/4". Rather long shaft is square with chamfered arrises and a tang at top. Tang is inserted through a between-centers turned maple handle and clinched at top.
