T-handled screw tap for wood of forged and machined steel for threading inside of a 5/8" diameter hole. Shaft is octagonal and tang at top is threaded. It is inserted through a between-centers turned hickory handle and a diamond-shaped brass nut is screwed on over top of handle and peened to fit curvature of handle.
