T-handled Scotch pattern, 3/4" diameter screw auger with a screw lead of cast steel. Round shaft is welded to a longer forged steel shaft whose tang is inserted through a between-centers turned red maple handle turned in the round. Bit diameter approximately 1". One spur borken off cutting edge.
