A pincushion in dark red velvet divided into eight sections with lighter-colored red thread that rests in 1 1/4" high woven poplar base. The base is edged at both top and bottom with white kid leather (skiver). The base has one decorative lighter red bow. the exterior of the base is covered in tan-striped paper.
