Description

Foundry pattern for a stove firebox bottom of white pine. The pattern consists of a 1/4" x 15 3/4" x 32" rectangle of pine edged on four sides with 1/4" x 7/8" trim strips. Four lugs 3/8" x 1 3/8" semi-circles are glued and nailed to the sides near back edge and center. Spaced around the periphery of the upper side, 10 spacers are glued and nailed to hold the back, sides, and front frame against the trim strips which are 1/2" proud of the bottom surface. Painted black.
