Description

Cast iron brazier consisting of an iron pot with a flared rim. The pot has three legs and one handle as well as a steel band (1/16" x 1/2") wrapped around the top of the pot just under the flared rim.

Notes

Elemental sulfur was burned in this brazier to produce sulfur dioxide, a powerful bleaching agent.
