Description
A brass wick holder. The wick holder is circular, with a cove-ogee edge; above that edge is a ring of through-holes broken up by brackets to secure the arms and the clasp of the dome lid, which is hinged. At the top center of the dome is a slit 1/4" w and rounded ends. Underneath the dome is a low perforated dome with an oval protrusion. This protrusion continues to the holder's base, which is attached to the arms. Through the holder is a small brass rod with a circular disk for progressing the wick which catches on the three gear-like spokes on the opposite end.
