Description

Fleshing or dehairing knife with a serrated tool steel blade hammer-welded to an iron backing with tangs in-line with blade. Ring-porous hardwood (possibly hickory) handles turned from stock in the round clinched to tangs with iron ferrules drive into handle ends so that ferrule and handle end surfaces are flush.
