Description
A shop-made die of iron or steel. Circular flat plat with two tapering round handles forged from a single piece of metal. A hole is drilled and tapped through center of plate and three other holes are drilled around the tapped hole which are cut through to tapped hole forming clover leaf for clearance of shavings. A rectangular three-sided piece of metal is riveted to the front of the tapped plate and a hole in line with tapped hole has been drilled through to guide rod being threaded.

Acessioned with a machine of unknown use and two other dies. The two other dies are currently missing.
