Description
Cast iron kettle painted black (a). The rim curves upward and outward from the basin by 1 1/16". On each side of the lip there is an integral ear, which has a wrought iron bale looped through with a wood hand grip at the middle painted black. Inside the kettle there is a half-circle integral tube which continues through to the bottom where there is an opening. The bottom kettle has an off-center protruding circle 6 9/16" in diameter. (b) is a perforated cast iron plate, with three different protrusion, that sits at different points inside the basin depending on which protruding point is on/near the integral tube.
