Description

An apple parer of wood. The parer has two rectangular pieces of wood connected by a threaded tenon forming a vise. The threaded tenon has a 2 1/16" h head with a through-dowel to facilitate turning. The bottom piece is longer and on its extended end there is a protruding arm with three metal spokes at the end reinforced by a metal ferrule. The spokes are controlled by a wooden arm that extends from the opposite side of the bottom piece. The arm has a turned wood handle. At the opposite end there is a turned wood piece with a small through-hole at the end.
