Small maple boat shuttle of maple with brass bushing in hole in side and an ivory bobbin spindle that appears to have been made from some pre-existing object since there are two small beads turned into the shaft just ahead of where shaft is whittled down to fit into shuttle notch. Maple probably has clear coat of finish.
