Rectangular block of maple, sides taper upwards, bottom carved into pattern of squares, top has two holes (1 1/4" diameter, 9/16" diameter overlapping) with nickle-plated brass disk in 1 1/4" hole with keyed slot secured by two brass flat-head wood screws.
