Description

Short section of peg rail of white pine (Pinus strobus) with three turned birch (Betula spp.) pegs inserted through the rail. The top and bottom edges are dadoed (1/4" wide x 3/16" deep) forming a locking key with the dado filled with plaster. 3 7/32" high x 15/16" dia. pegs with 1/2" dia. x 1 1/16" tenons.
