Description

Section of peg rail with five pegs. Rail is 1 1/8" x 2 7/18" of cherry. Four original pegs are also cherry. The fifth peg (birch?) is a replacement added by this museum. Rail and pegs were once painted white; traces of white pigment in wood pores.
