Mixing paddle, Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
A mixing paddle of cherry fashioned from a single piece of wood, 17/32" x 3 11/16" x 53 1/2". Paddle end is approximately 3 11/16" w, tapered in thickness to 15/32" at end with feathered and rounded vertical edges. About 7 1/4" from bottom the paddle tapers inward to form a 1 1/2" w handle. A 5/8" diameter hole is drilled approximately 5" from handle end, presumably for hanging.
