Cup of tin-plated sheet metal, joints lapped and soldered, rim wire-rolled and a slight pouring lip has been added at front. A strap handle with wire-rolled edges is soldered to back. A pitcher lid not original to cup sits loosely inside rim of cup. Lid has a pointed projection to cover pouring lip and a strap handle riveted on. Lid was originally painted black.
