Description

Laundry table with two drawers entirely of white pine, except for the knobs. Heavy pine legs tapered on three sides. Drawers are dovetail-jointed and each has a single, between-centers turned cherry knob centered in the drawer front. Characteristically, the top is attached to cleats which are fastened to the under carriage. Drawers lipped on top and ends, stopped end over all four edges. Exterior of undercarriage has yellow wash, including knobs. Insides of drawers painted white. Top is now dark brown from age and use but traces of yellow wash are still visible.
