Description

Wood table. Table top has two rounded corners on one long edge and two square corners on opposite edge. The long edges are beveled. Two braces are screwed to underside of table top. Braces run the depth of the table and are set 46 1/4" apart. In each brace there are two splayed legs with a tapered rectangular shape; bottom two-thirds of legs have a tapered chamfer. Table is stained red-brown with a clear coat.

Notes

This table is similar to one seen in a historic photograph of Eldress Sarah Collins’s work room. According to the accession information, this table was used by Eldress Sarah as well.
