Description

Five drawer sewing counter of white pine (Pinus strobus) with drawer sides, backs, and bottoms of basswood (Tilia americana). One long drawer is positioned in the middle of the front; on each side are two drawers above and below the long drawer. Ivory heart-shaped escutcheons (replaced). All drawers originally had half-mortise locks which were removed by the museum.
