Rectangular wooden frame with rattan wicker in between. The frame has one dovetail per corner and eight dado-jointed horizontal slats 7 1/2" - 8 1/2" apart. The main frame is 1 13/16" H and is nailed to a frame 3/4" H; between these two the ends of the wicker is secured and is visible from the outside.
