Description

Large ironing board of pine (Pinus strobus) with maple (Acer spp.) bread board ends, joined with tongue-and-grooves and pinned. The board is made up of two wide pine boards, butted and glued in center. However, contraction of the pine boards held fixed by the bread board ends has resulted in failure of the glue joint.
