Coal scuttle of galvanized sheet metal made up of three pieces of sheet metal with crimped joints. Rims are wire rolled. Bottom reinforced with an iron bar riveted in place. Scuttle has a heavy wire bail secured with a sheet metal ear pressed to shape and riveted to scuttle. Other ear is a cast iron replacement, also riveted in place.
