Description
White pine panel with lettering carved into surface. Background is painted black, incised letters are painted gold. Panel is set into an oak frame with an interior frame which is embossed gesso and painted silver (highlights) and black (background) in a Greek key design. Outside of that is a narrow band of embossed gesso in a bead chain pattern, painted fold (highlights) and red-brown (background). The remainder of the frame is oak stained brown and varnished over.
