Rug beater with a light-colored turned wooden handle. The handle is 5 1/16" long with a 2 5/8" tenon. Two ends of a bent wire are attached to either side of the tenon. The wire is secured to the tenon by two galvanized metal ferrules - one near the handle and the other at the end of the tenon. The metal wire has a tear-drop shape.
