Description

Shaper jig for #0 chair back-slats of maple, iron and sand paper. Jig base that rides on rub bearing and shaped portion above are maple as are the positioning dowels and hold-downs. Two in-the-round turned beech handles with 1/2" diameter wrought steel bolts that thread into captured nuts in the base hold the slat blanks in place for machining. Sand paper is glued to the top of the base under one of the holds to prevent slat blanks from turning.
