Description

Two basswood stocking stretchers. The stretcher has a straight edge at top, 4 1/2" w. The back side tapers in slightly for the calf, lightly curves in toward the front for the ankle, and out to form the heel. The line of the heel is curved to match the bottom of a foot, which is at a downward angle. The toe is rounded to a point and continues at an angle up toward the ankle. The shin goes straight to the top edge. All edges are rounded. The stretchers each has a through hole at top center, which have rope looped through each to secure the two together.
